SaltBlock began as a passion project fueled by a love for the water, our obsession with fresh seafood, and sharing both experiences with those closest to us. Realizing a need for more intentionally crafted catering services in Tampa, SaltBlock Catering came to life as a “Scratch-Made” kitchen, and over the years, it has expanded into a full-service hospitality company. Although our team and service offerings have grown, we maintain the same simple mission; to provide our customers with Thoughtfully Crafted Hospitality Experiences. Our team pours everything we have into our food and service, an effort we hope translates into outstanding experiences for you and your guests. We appreciate your business and look forward to many shared meals to come.

Renting items for your event isn’t just for furniture! Did you know you could rent everything from sofas all the way down to the glassware? The Copper Acorn offers so many vintage options for your special event. We have a 3,000 square foot warehouse full of unique furniture, arbors, bars, sofas, chairs, wine barrels, mismatched wooden chairs, farm tables, the list goes on! Not only does renting unique furniture for your event make for great photos, it also sets the tone and gives that ‘wow’ factor your guests will definitely remember. I mean, who doesn’t want their guests to walk away thinking “wow that was gorgeous!?” I believe that renting these items is so important because it really adds that special touch you are looking for and your guests will be talking about your event for weeks to come. No event is the same, and the décor shouldn’t be either! You can come to the warehouse and pick what you want or it can be designed for you! Most of our pieces are one of a kind and genuinely vintage meaning your event will have it’s own unique style that will not be duplicated. Renting items for your event is a lot more reasonably priced than a lot of people may think. Rather than making something from scratch, you could rent it, save the money on supplies, and save the time and headache of having to do it on your own. The stress relief alone is worth the extra cost! We can also build custom items too so bring your vision board!
This wedding was certainly something to remember. Cassie and Sebastian's infectious love was not hard to miss. From the beginning of our planning process to the very end of their wedding night, we couldn't help but notice how in love these two were. I would describe this wedding as being romantic-boho. Cassie and Sebastian's wedding had touches of sandy blue and small pops of white and greens. The cafe lights that stringed above their reception dinner was just the prefect touch. We wish this couple a lifetime of happiness and many, many more memories! Give Credit Where Credit is Due:

Planning a wedding in a short notice of time can be very difficult, but most definitely possible. It takes patience and diligence to provide the best experience for not only the bride and groom, but for participating vendors as well. RESPONSIVENESS
Often times when we are planning a wedding we tend to get frustrated when we don’t hear a response from the client right away. For planners and the client themselves, it is very important for both parties to be responsive in order for the big day to run as smooth as possible. We must remember that both the bride and groom most likely have day jobs, school, children, etc. they are taking care of — while we work, so do they! Be patient and know that you will get an answer, but also remain consistent and continue to do follow-ups with your client. FLEXIBILITY A huge thing to take note of when planning a wedding in a short amount of time is to take an idea and run with it. You’ll notice that one idea will lead to another, and then shortly you will have planned a full wedding day. You have to be flexible when working with a client and be ready to meet with them. Maybe you have to skip your 2pm massage appointment, but don’t worry it will still be waiting there for you when the wedding is all said-and-done. OPEN-MINDED Often times we have a bride who wants to plan a wedding exactly the way she sees on Pinterest. As most of us know, sometimes it is hard to recreate exactly what she saw on the app, but we do our best. Say she sees an organic wedding arch decked with greenery and draping. We all know that one leaf is different from the next, so when recreating a vision and you think something else will work better, then follow your gut and just do it. OUTGOING When planning a wedding with little notice we often run into the issue of vendors and specific venues being available. Start putting yourself out there, research, and put yourself out there again. Make connections and find exactly what you’re looking for. Finding a location for a wedding with plenty of time can be hard — and finding a venue in a short allotment of time can be extremely difficult. This is where we have to get creative. Think outside the box and contact venues and other vendors that normally don’t host such events — most times they are thrilled to cater to a bride and groom! The fine thing about this is that your venue is new, fresh, and most likely never been utilized for a wedding before. This makes for a personable and intimate wedding. Bring in a new florist and maybe they will show you designs you’ve never seen before. As far as the client goes — they trust you and your overall product. It is important to be open-minded about the planning process and know that things may not be the way you initially imagined, but they will still look great in your hands. POSITIVE The best part about planning a wedding in short notice of time is seeing all of the amazing things that can transpire. We start to get creative, host a ceremony in a foreign building, make new connections with vendors we would have never met, and overall host a wonderful wedding. Stay positive, and know that you just have to keep moving. Remember, you are the expert here and you can and will get through it. Each bump in the road leads to new experiences and adventures — don’t get caught up in knowing you have a short amount of time. Follow your gut and run with it! She takes the time to get to know each client and ease every concern. We were able to just enjoy the big day knowing that every moment would be captured perfectly. We are BEYOND SATISFIED with our pictures! Katelyn exceeded all of our expectations!! I have recommended her to everyone!" RICHARD & KATIE - 5 STARS "Katelyn gets a five star review for her work, attitude, and overall demeanor. From the moment we met her a year before the wedding, Katelyn went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at ease about the entire process. For our engagement photos Katelyn actually went out of her way to personally speak with the manager of one of our favorite restaurants and was able to get us in while the restaurant was closed to take some incredible photos of us while no one else was there. For the wedding, Katelyn and her assistant Andrea immediately fit right in with the bridal party and made the whole day even more fun and memorable than we could've imagined. They were fun, vibrant and upbeat the entire time. It's hard to describe but Katelyn and Andrea felt like they were guests at the wedding and really did become part of the family. As far as the finished product goes, the photos came out incredibly and are perfect. Katelyn is so talented and wasn't afraid to try some unique shots and use the sunlight and shadows to really capture some beautiful scenes." We aren’t sure what made us fall in love with this wedding…between the beautiful florals accented with Giant King Portea, or our bubbly couple who was smiling ear to ear the whole day. From the moment we began planning this wedding, we knew it was going to be something special. Our bride wore a simple, basic, two piece wedding dress that was more than enough to make the whole room stop and stare. The bridesmaids were dressed in a pale mint floor length dress and the groomsmen went barefoot on the white sandy shore of Siesta Key, Florida. This wedding was nothing short of a good time surrounded by their friends and family from all over the world. Each table was embellished with greenery and peach tones for a little pop of color to bring in some of their home heritage back in South Africa. The beachside ceremony had a clean, white, Mona-Lisa Arch and a clear blue sky while this couple said “I Do.” When the reception began, this couple took off their shoes and began freely dancing in the rain. Friends and family began to join them and that’s when we knew this wedding was going to be one to remember! From start-to-finish we couldn't get enough! Package: This wonderful couple was from New York, so taking the stress away from them was a priority. We introduced them to the "In Love & Luxe" Collection, and they never looked back. Our bride had came to us with an exceptional location at a private estate on Casey Key, Florida. With their own private beach in their backyard and the elegant white furniture that filled the estate, we knew we were going to have our hands filled with beautiful décor. From the table-scape to the wedding arch, we filled the air with little details. Deep sea blue table runners stretched down the tables and white elegant starfish finished off the place settings. Lanterns of all shapes and sizes welcomed the couple as they walked down the aisle with white sands beneath their feet. The dark greenery on the back of the mahogany chairs had us falling in love with this wedding one small detail at a time. This small wedding was one to remember…the intimate feeling during the ceremony, to the candle lit dinner, we were completely captured in this couples presence. As the sunset hit dusk, the atmosphere was filled with love surrounded by their close family & friends. On a private estate where Ashley and Eric said their vows, they were surrounded by blue skies and beautiful pops of color. This wedding was nothing short of elegant and an intimate atmosphere on the sandy white beaches of Siesta Key, Florida. The bridesmaids got ready overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, while the groomsmen were treated to an indoor bowling alley and night club inside the private estate. As it became time for the ceremony, the couple made their way down the aisle greeted by 50 of their nearest and dearest. Joined with them, their closet family and friends welcomed them as they were pampered to a ceremony and reception on the water. The pops of greenery and peach tones were absolutely remarkable on the long table-scapes. The table numbers were filled with bright green vinery to give the wedding little unique details. Thanks to Beth and Gary, this wedding on Siesta Key would've never been possible — thanks to you, our beautiful couple danced the night away under the stars on the white sands of Siesta Key and they had a wedding day that was one to remember!
